How long have you been in business?
Established in 1947
Williamson & King Insurance Agency was originally incorporated in 1948 by two home builders at which time the agency was started. The agency was sold a couple of times over the years before the Vermost Family purchased it in 1988 and changed the name to Williamson-Vermost Agency. The name was officially changed to Vermost & Assoc. in 2000. In 2006 Darren J. Vermost purchased the remaining stock from his father Ronald & took over as President of the agency.
In 2009 Vermost & Assoc. merged with Mutual Insurance Agency at Clearwater, Inc. The new entity is owned by Darren Vermost and John B. Gay III.

How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
May 1, 2011 we moved to our new, current location 1120 Belcher Road S Ste 1, Largo, FL 33771, expanding yet again, adding staff to handle our growth.

We are open Monday through Friday, from 9am to 5pm.
